The BCI at 261.0 is down from last week’s 261.4, and is below the previous high for this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 94.1. However, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 9.4 is above last week’s 9.3.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
