The BCI at 262.0 is near last week’s revised 261.9, and remains below the previous high for this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 98.3. However, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 11.3 is below last week’s 11.4.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
