The BCI at 254.8 is down from last week’s downward revised 255.3, and remains below the previous high of this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 76.1. Also, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 10.3 is below last week’s 10.6.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
