The BCI at 254.7 is down from last week’s 255.1, and remains below the previous high of this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 77.5. However, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 8.9 is above last week’s 8.8.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
