The BCI at 255.1 is up from last week’s downward revised 254.1, and remains below the previous high of this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 80.0. Also, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 8.8 is above last week’s 8.7.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
