The BCI at 261.1 is up from last week’s 260.7, and remains below the previous high for this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 92.5. However, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 10.4 is below last week’s 10.8.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
