The BCI at 260.6 is down from last week’s upward revised 262.3, and is below the previous high for this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 89.1. Also, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 9.9 is down from last week’s 10.0.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
