The BCI at 258.8 is down from last week’s downward revised 259.3, and is below the last high of this business cycle indicated by the BCIp of 96.7. However, the 6-month smoothed annualized growth BCIg at 11.0 is above last week’s 10.9.
Both BCIp and BCIg are not signaling a recession.
